Superlativo de superioridade
Existem dois modos de construção do Superlativo de superioridade:
1. Com Adjetivos curtos:
THE + ADJETIVO + EST
Exemplo: OLD
Susan is the oldest Student
(Susan é a aluna mais velha)
2. Com Adjetivos longos:
THE MOST + ADJETIVO
Exemplo: INTELLIGENT
Susan is the most intelligent Student
(Susan é a aluna mais inteligente)
Detalhes específicos:
Adjetivos terminados em 1 consoante precedida de 1 vogal, dobra a consoante final
Exemplo: BIG
São Paulo is the biggest city
(São Paulo é a maior cidade)
Adjetivos terminados em "Y", perdem o "Y" e acrescenta "IEST" Exemplo: EASY
English is the easiest Language
(Inglês é a língua mais fácil)
